Some one turn the light on pls :)

Hi all
i just purchased a Geforce2 MX (silly me eh :))

i am having a few problems with the lighting in games
it is VERY dark in most games.
Any idea on how to change it
i tried playin with the brightness and gamma etc in the options but it makes the desktop way to bright

is there any compromise?

I would say turn your monitor brightness up in games, but that'd be irritating altering it between yer desktop and games.

i have the brightness turned right up in game too :)

there must be some sort of balance of brightness and colour?

Isnt there a couple of tick boxes in a panel where you can make your desktop settings and your d3d or glide settings different?

theres a setting called digital vibrance somewhere in display properties, search around for that

and also load the Nvidia taskbar icon thing and set up a configoration for games that is a lot brighter, then you can right click on icon and change it to bright, run your game, then just restore to default easily.

Thats what i did on my old TNT, but my GeForce 2 mx is alot brighter now.
