Right for me its a cheap one.

Suppose i have to stick to crappy vans, i cant really afford to keep skatin all of the time.
I always have trouble cos i skate in crappy vans with holes
An old girl deck that is spiltting at the end and is down to the last ply
old trucks off a £30 board that keep chipping off.
Speed demons that have had it and wheels that are almost seized up.
and cheap wheels that have worn down at least 5mm

back to subject i tried my mates osiris shooz and they feel comfortable and function well, pity they didnt last too long.

Mate, they do last long. my first pair lasted for nearly a year! The second Got stolen, and the ones i wear now have been going on for 4 months.

Can anyone reccomend some shoes in the £40 price range? I want to get some new shoes and I might as well make sure they are good for skateboarding :)

I've only tried DC and Etnies. Prefer the DC ones at the moment. Mad Izzie you could try adidas samba football trainers. They have a big white ridge around the toe box which will help with dragging your foot up the board for ollies as the ridge will protect the leather compared to a normal pair of trainers with no ridge. They are dead comfy as well. Used to buy em years ago.

Id say DC or some globes. cheap and last for ages.
