Is this thread a request for week 2 of mah Skateboarding Diary?
If so, sowwy ;(
I been at a party for tha last 3 days and have not done much except for getting lost under someones bath, headbutting a wall until all the plaster cracked off and having a wrestling match with my friend with an audience of 20 people (I won, he gave up when I started grabbing his head and jump kicking him in the face :D) ;(
I am planning on doing a midweek diary and an end of week one if I can :D
Here is a small update:
Sunday - pissed about, got much better at kickflips and ollies (I can almost do them now ;)) started practicing going forwards, left and a bit further left.
Monday - Landed my first proper kickflip right at new years, 'twas damn good too ;)
Tried going on a half pipe at 6:00 Am, survived (by concentrating soley on not falling) but immediately commenced stupidity again, went to top of hill to see what was up there, fell over 10 foot drop at top of hill, landed on board, broke board, pain ;(

" Here we are in the X-games wth champion mad izzie. He burned up the track today and the amazing thing is, he's only been skating for 3 months. how did you do it izzie?"
"well bill, it just came naturally, i kickfliped after a few days and I learnt the 720 flip the day after."
" you sure are amazing. well there you have it."
joking izzie if thats true you are pretty good. :E
Actually I learnt the Kickflip after a week and a half of an average of 3 hours a day and I still can't do it very well (apart from the first one) or land it...ever :E
Tomorrow I learn the Boneless 1080 backflip to heelflip :D

btw, the kickflips I'm doing are classic Kickflips not Ollie Kickflips, I can't ollie yet so I don't have a chance in hell of doing one of them ;)

wow! thats so damned cool!
I gotta get me out and do it!
/hurrys outside with skateboard
...
/runs back to PC
dammit its freezing out there!...
Cool, I'm doing a trick that the guy who has been skateboarding for 2 years hadn't even heard of :E
Diary for today:
Friday - Fitted my new Bearings (Bones Reds) and wheels (crappy unknown brand that I bought second hand from my friend because they are still better than the wheels that I nicked off my old £5 board I've had since I was 10), took ages to fit bearings and ended up having to hammer some of them in because the one of the sides in each wheel wasn't quite big enough for a bearing for some reason ;(
Board still goes to the side a bit and I can't seem to adjust it so it goes straight so I can't really practice moving yet ;(
When going forwards I have trouble moving my feet into a position to try any tricks ;(
Continued to practice Ollies, Classic Kickflips and 1 footed tail tail manuals and started to practice a bit of Freestyle Footwork (http://www.bobstricktips.com/pages/footwork2.shtml), realised that I may be a little over ambitious, will learn Yoyo plant tommorow :E

Bearings are meant to have a tight fit inside wheels so they dont fall out (suprisingly enough...) and its okay that you had to hammer them, i did that, but dont do it too hard, thats all.

Try tightening the trcuks a bit, and look at the bushings (the rubber bits in them) If they are crooked, take them out, flatten them and put the back in straighter. worked for me :)
Hope all of this helps :)
Are you meant to be able to remove bearings and use them again? I don't want to spend anothr £10 on bearings when I get new wheels but I don't want to damage the bearings ;(
The trucks were way too tight to turn so I loosened them but the board went to the side before I loosened them, I will check the bushings :D
Sunday - Went to a small Skatepark, practiced falling over under the guise of going down a bowl, tried Yoyo plant, fell over, hangover didn't help much ;(
Will try Yoyo Plant again in 5 years.
Improved my Ollie, can almost do them properly :D

Of course you can take them out again. silly billy! just follow the method i said in the other thread. :)
I saw that after I posted ;(
I have already removed them once but it was so damn hard to get them in the new wheels I didn't think I could get them out again without damaging them, I already damaged one a little when I put it in wrong and tried to get it back out ;(
I just realised, the last diary was week 3! :D

i dont know if its just me that does this...
To get bearings into a wheel:
Put a bearing over the hole where it is meant to fit in. Balance another bearing on top of that, and with your foot, press down on the top, making the top one push the bottom one in the wheel.
Its always worked for me :)
