Hi there. I currently have 2 computers connected via a BNC/Coax cable. I have 2 10mbs network cards in the machines and I am wanting to connect them via RJ45 cable. I have learnt that I need a crossover cable to connected them without the use of a hub.

This is my question. Will CAT5 cable work ok for 10mbs networks as I have heard it is only for 100mbs only.

Thanks for your help.

no probs m8. CAT5 is OK for 10m/bit. works OK at the school where I work and most of that is 10 m/bit.
