S.A.W. (FA 2) Recruiting quality people.

We are looking for high grade personell who feel that AA doesn't fulfill all of their needs.

You know, stuff like getting a Lancaster and dropping 24 100lb bombs all over a German base. Or grabbing a Typhoon loaded with rockets and wiping out a column of Tiger Tanks. Even flying a Mosquito and destroying enemy supply trains.
You could also get in a Spitfire and make sure that all those people above reach their targets in one piece!


The Strategic Attack wing is composed of the following:


617 Bomber group... Mainly Lancasters

609 Ground attack... Typhoons/Mosquitos

616 Fighter escort... Spitfires/Hurricaines


We are not looking to drag you away from AA. In fact the two games sit alongside each other very nicely.
What we are looking for are those who like to play alongside like minded people. Guys and Gals who enjoy the game without the distractions of Teamkillers, Runwayers, multiple aliases etc.

We aren't even looking for the best pilots, just the best people!

P.S. JJ, The 616 is in very good hands mate. We're already building up a good reputation for fairness and ability on the FA2 battlefields.

I didn't know how i would take to bombing when i first joined 617 sqn, being a natural fighter pilot.

I must say now that although i still fly fighters alot in the Territorial Combat arenas (had 6 stars t'other night) i am average at bombing in a group or on my own. Personal best managing to trigger 6 scenes on my own with enemy pilots flying about...

If you like Air Attack, you'll love FA2. The realism is unlike AA's realism settings if you've ever been in an arena with ful physics, however the drawbacks are far outweighed by the pluses. I'd reccomend it to anyone.

Not only that Flares is a top bloke to fly for so you have no excuse whatsoever :)

Lancasters! Bah, spitfire is most deadly bomber :)

I been on FA2 since just before Xmas and managed to score 32000 air to air points and 32000 ground attack points, flying about 75% in a spitfire. Them things rock when fighting yanks :)

Wraith Ed being a fair weather flyer isn't a problem as long as you get in touch occasionally, plus if there's a big historical event on, you can get yourself a 24hr sub.:)

Btw I believe there are now 100% free (no sub) arenas available at http://zone.msn.com/fighterace/default2.asp?strLobbyType=aa . Arcade (cough) rooms, but free anyway..
