ShAka... I believe, wants to establish a website for everyone... covering every aspect about creating a web design, from the basics right up to the expert stuff... and have it all in forum, with chat facilities and contact details... just like this board, but MUCH more in depth.
As for the WPWM... I think that (although don't quote me on this) basically picked off some ideas from the thread that ShAkA started.

WPWM has been established for a little while now, and I have taken the project over from Grumpy as hes got uni stuff to do. part of my taking over is a revamp of the site.

What Shaka has proposed is similar to what i am doing already with some others on the WPWM site. My suggestion is to combine our obvious enthusiasm for this prject, and to do suff together rather than competing.

I was about ready to relaunch WPWM anyway, and would have done so this w/e, but as people were around and on the forum, i thought'd id chuck it out now :)

Its still not gonna be finished til Sunday, but i needed to get people aware of it and get requests for reviews in asap to i could get content.

Has that explained it a bit better ??

More vice versa and Skaka's idea is for a more "live" interactive feel to it. Both WPWM and Ska's idea have both merit and there is room for both types. As the other thread noone was stealing ideas and peeps were brainstorming what would sort of things would be interesting to any site.

WPWM started off as a central point of reference for all the sites that regulars to the Webby forum had... I took it on and tried to review sites (rather than just have boring old links). The potential is there to have a little more than that - as I started doing with features and the jobs bit. Although I'm not sure if it would work as a real knowledge repository type thing - I think it would be better to keep stuff like that seperate - which is where ShAkA come in :)
