well as of yet it is currently being decided upon depending on what consumers will be after. the doman hasnt been confirmed yet but in thinking about it i want it short. will be a .com mind. Not sure about Mysql but i can look into it.

if somone offered ASP, MSSQL , SMTP (with good ol' CDONTS enabled of course) all on a nice IIS server for a reasonable price i would most definetly be looking to aquire some of thier space but no one seems to want to do that a nice price so i guess im fluffed. Reasonable would be £5 - 15 a month incase anyone is interested. And decent amounts of space as well not a 1meg database and 2megs of webspace. Oh and they would have to be nice about creating me a DSN or two.

PHP is for people who want little things like EFFICIENT langagues :) that take an EIGTH of the time to access MSSQL data that ASP does.

I dont think you will find many other hosts offering what i do for such a small price! Not forgetting a damn hella fast server :E

I think ASP seems to me as the script for learners which is why i use it and not PHP. I will look into the MySQL and see if there is any chance of it.

You ave to get Solaris from Sun, they only just started doing a "you pay for the CD's only deal" of $75 for upto 8 CPU's including Oracle 8i, so thats not bad at all actually, but Solaris is a MUCH more heavy duty version of UNIX than Linux is or will be.

I use to do FREE domain hosting on NT4 server with those features Mr Cow. The company who ran the servers was Fasthosts.
They are the biggest pile of wank going.

You may not use them, but they sounds JUST like what they offer - so they charge u £50 a month (+vat) to resell their space.

Now, if it IS Fasthosts who u are with, then drop them quickly.

U may have heard what happened to me and D33... We were fasthost resellers.
I had 15 domains on my account - then their file server 3 (fs3) died.
All data was lost because they did NOT set up their raid 5 array properly, so the other HD's never kicked in.

All 15 of my domains lost their data.
Took fasthosts over a week to get it so I can re-make the dead domains. Still, I got no reply as to if they got the data restored - but I don't care, as I got myself my own server in the US that is ****loads better.

I now host loads of Wireplay community sites, and have Wireplay sponsering it :)
