So whats this game like online?.......

I havnt got this game yet but before i buy it i would like to know from someone what it's like playablewise online etc...

one think i really miss from my old playstation days were the footy sims and playing it with m8s on a saturday night with a few tinnys and a packet of fags at the ready:)

It would be nice if we got a good community built up here with leagues and regular events set up, maybe if their is enough then an irc channel etc then hopefully snowball from there.?

Graphics are amazing very smooth and realistic as for online play: lag lag lag :)

Yeah, it's quite good online although there are still a few bugs flying around but it's playable (i'm still without a loss in 6 games :) )

As for leagues you can find some here http://www.fifaclubs.com although i'd prefer a wireplay league :)

Overall a very good game and very addictive as are all of the fifa series but i think fifa2001 stands out as the best fifa game i've played....

yeah too true m8, i'd atleast rather loose against peeps i know :P

surely its easy enough for us to set one up ourselves under the "wp" banner as to speak ? use this as the official nb for it ? then hopefully it would snowball from there?

I would think a ladder format would be more workable though tbh, then anyone can enter at anytime, easier maintained and self updating.

we need the people to post their interest though or nowt will happen.

if anyone has any friends that might be interested then tell them about this board eh;)

I've spoken to the velvety one about it and he's happy for an officially unofficial Wireplay FIFA league get setup.

I've got some spare time at the moment so I can start working on some rules and a website. If anyone else wants to get involved, I'll start a new topic and you can post your interest, ideas and suggestons there, or contact me. (There goes the AA practice, sorry Dilly;))
