Newbie tips etc?

Hello to the WP AC peeps,

Ok, due to a few pimps (sniper incl ;)) I just ordered AC and should get it by the weekend - just wondered if there are any tips etc to help out a poor newbie from UT get started? :D

K do u know what type of Character u want to be i.e melee(swords,axe's unarmed combat....)magic (item, creature,war and life).
Best thing to do is try ang get some people from this forum to help u we are a friendly lot so just ask :E
If u want help on leacluff(sp?) @tell Mike O'Hope and are give u a helping hand.
Or if u join the new monacry on wintersebb (when it opens) are show u how to hunt and were to do it:E

I wanna be some sorta ranged combat geezer - ranger or summink.
Magic: no idea... probably creature?
