hmmm 2weeks to create/finish a map. Should be okay, wasn't planning on a life between those dates.

But dont worry. The 6 days after close is plenty of time to play all the entries sufficently.

Unfortuantly none of my maps are close enuff to completion to enter, hence the out burst :) i do hope someone from here wins it though. Perhaps we could organise some play testing to help...just a thought. I'll look at anyones map if they need a third eye as it were.

Not fair though, all those uber mappers, Gustavo, scary etc, all have plenty of maps stockpiled, some completed, some nearly, that they can just whip out and finish in a day or two.

Plus they've got piles of experience, so I doubt it'll just be any old average joe :rolleyes:

If you fancy some other competitions, Biohazard (http://www.planethalflife.com/biohazard) are running a competition to make a Xen map, and when/if LMC (http://www.planethalflife.com/complex) finish the Xmas maps competition (for which I made a map ;)) they're going to run an OP4 SP/Sven co-op comp.

Op4 SP you say? Now thats what the HL community has been severly missing, as I reckon Op4 is the DB's.

Also im pretty sure you can get Op4 CTF & DM as a free mod now and the Op4 CTF maps are brilliant imo.

Hey maybe they can't be arsed to make TF2 as a stand alone thing, so they're going to slowly modify Half-Life/TFC into it via endless patches.....
