new mouse probs need elp=/

new razer boomslang arrived today, installed the drivers no probs, plugged it in turned on the computer then it asks for the windows cd. Shoved that in but it said it couldnt find the file hidusb.sys
so its not installed properly :(
any advice? i aint got a clue :E

if i try and install the ps/2 drivers the same thing happens but it asks for mouhid.sys:(

You aren't on Win95 are you?

If so, you may need to download a Windows Service Pack of some sort or other. Try checking the razer webby, or if your desperate, you can probably find a site that hosts all these windows files for your downloadable pleasure (I came accross one once).
