It maybe that it's looking for the file directly on the CD and files normally come within a .cab file (like winzip but by M$) on your 98 CD.

If you have 98 CD to hand it will be in a file called Base5.cab which for the life of me I can't remember is, just do a search, if you have trouble extracting the file then have a read of this (http://www.microsoft.com/TechNet/win98/Reskit/Part7/wrkappb.asp)

Hehe could be one more could be fifty two more :)
Ok to cut to the chase and you can do it yourself :naughty:, go to this .cab file list (http://search.microsoft.com/us/itresources/SearchMS25.asp?so=RECCNT&qu=hidusb.sys%2520win98%2520.cab%2520files&qu=Windows+98+Second+Edition+CD-ROM+Directory+Listing&boolean=PHRASE&i=00&i=01&p=1&nq=NEW) then type the name of your file in and it should leave you with one page, go to the page press ctrl+F type in the name of the file and hey presto it should jump to the file and its just a matter of scrolling up to the name of the .cab file :E

Welcome to the flakey world of Micro$oft where you add a new icon to your desktop and the sound stops working, get the sound working and the your left mouse button dies etc etc

Now that you've mentioned it...my toaster doesn't work anymore ever since I installed MS Office...it say something about a file plug.ini being missing, where can I find it? :E
