i was told that by someone when i was going to get mine, so i went for the HedgeHog. Tis a great HSF if you ask me, a bit pricey but me 1ghz athlon is running constantly under 34 degrees with 2 case fans :E

Can I just change the fan without takin the buggerin' heatsink off.

I bloody hope so, I dont think me thumbs can take it anymore :).

you can change the fan with the heatsink still on, i changed from the Fop 32-1's YS-tech fan to a Delta fan to make my Fop 32-1 into a Fop 38.
Only thing is it can be a bit fiddly :)
I currently have the Fop 38 running 24/7 in my bedroom :D

I read thetitle for this thread and thought "coolercase or Fop 32/38" ;)

i'm a sound sleeper (have to be, i had this PC by my bed for about 8 weeks), i wanted the cooling :)
My CPU temp is often as low as 30c and very very rarely goes above 35c :D

Why do people complain about the noise ? I'm sitting next to my 'pute with 9 fans running and it don't bother me. I'd rather have a cool beastie and a bit of noise anyday....

lets put it this way, i slept through the smoke alarm in the hall going off the other week (older bro was soldering directly underneeth it).

I agree i prefer a cool, if noisy PC to one that is quiet and heating up.
