Team Fortress Two Forum

[Reality]

On of my clan mates (Rex_Omar) had just a good idea. That idea is a Team Fortress Two Message board.

I know the game wont be released for ages yet, but there is a huge amount of interest in the game, not just from us TFC players.

OK, the board may not be that popular to begin with but one will be needed very soon, so wht not now - it also deserves a board for itself rather than being on the TFC board. (It also gives Velvet a chance to start another board, and have moderator problems with that http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/teeth.gif)

Thoughts anyone?

just been thinking more about it, at the moment there is the odd TF2 discussion on the TFC board - but being there it does kinda exclude people from other WP communities who may not check it but be interested in TF2.

Also the only real other place to talk about it is the Siera board, and I daren't post there for fear of breaking one of there thousands of rules http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/teeth.gif

We could copy parts of the FAQ from the sierra board, as that already contains information that would be useful.

And as to their strictness, If you're polite, you'll get along fairly well with them.

Best wait until after Chrimbo though, when we might know more about the future with it

Ive been talking over with Uprising for a while now, although ive had no official response yet, but Uprising told me they are interested in hosting mega sites, [ie]planethalflife standerd, and he said WP might be interested in hosting this site me and limp are working on [http://prodigyfox.virtualave.net]

I suggest velvet is moderator of the new board

until the game comes out, then we can tell who is sticking with TFC, and who is going to TF2, then u can pick the best moderator

actually Velvet moderating for a while is a good idea, at least until there are the foundations of a TF2 community established. Should also prevent any annoying "I want to be...." threads that are all over the TFC board at present.
