where can i get the latest drivers for a S3 Savage 4 AGP 2D/3D graphics card?

I used to get mine from Savage Daily News, but deleted the URL when I got A Voodoo3, sorry.

Try http://www.s3.com, there are Diamond Stealth and reference Savage4 drivers there.

i tryed at http://www.s3.com but when i downloaded the drivers it f**ked up my comp and i had to reninstall the old drivers.

Hence iam now looking to buy a new card.

Any1 got any idears i got £150 and i know nothing about graphics cards . I play a lot of HL and i like driving games and FPS .

Well Geforce MX, Voodoo4's, discounted Voodoo5's, Radeons & Kyro's are all good cards in that price range. Problem with Voodoo's is of course sale of 3dfx intellectual property to nVidea, so future official support is gone. There are a range of MX's, I would look up reviews of what features like TV-out, whether they have a cooling fan etc each one has. Or start a thread specifically. I'm not too up on the pluses of the different MX's.

The guy there's got some "tweaked" drivers for the savage 4 chipset and a nice little utility- included with the d/l drivers, called S3Tweak, for overclocking some S3/4 cards

I got another 350 in 3D2K (2019) by overclocking my Stealth 540.

It'll do until me new Elsa 2 MX arrives
