NTSC puts a password to access file from other computers so its more secure.
just put normal FAT32 in it

It does a hell of a lot more than that. FAT uses a File Allocation Table which is an area on your HD which stores where all the bits of files are spread across your HD when you want say 5 2mb files it'll read the FAT table, find out where the bits are then go off and retrieve a bit read the fat table go off get the next bit so and so forth. NTFS stores this data within the header of the file as it passes it so it reads the first part then rather than have to go back to start of your HD it reads the header and carries on making it quicker and less prone to fragmentation. This also helps with data integrity, loose the part of your HD with the FAT table on boom say bye bye to contents of HD, on Win2k you'd end up with some corrupt files but it would work round the damaged part of the HD. NTFS is much more resource friendly aswell. Plus you can do other things like if you have two HD's of 9gb each, one with a 3gb system partition you can then join the 6gb from the first drive and the 9gb together to make 15gb and if you want just add another (this isn't raid btw). You can do software RAID if you need data integrity but again theres no performance gain just safe data and the security is an added bonus for some.
The list goes on and on etc...
Also NTFS supports up to something like 20 Terabytes (I think)
And remember that 1000 gigbytes is one terabyte.
So thats a lot of space!

wouldn't that be 1024gigabytes :E
btw if i use partition magic to say make a 1gb partition if i set it at 1024mb it says 0.99gb in windows pffffffff
its fine at 1025 though :)
