iots lookin for HL.exe which isn't there as i dont actually have Halflife ! just the mods as such

dont load it like that then go into the CS and slecect custome game and load it fom that that is if you have already installed it from the sounds you cant even do that im not sure what the problem is but its not nice i think

One solution would be to get someone you know whos got it and HL to unpack it and zip up the unpacked files so you can play with them. I don't think you can use the default install if you don't have Half-Life since it will be pre packed to search for your HL folder. However, since DOD shouldn't modify HL itself, it might be possible to fool it by creating a typical looking HL folder name and have a text file and rename it to hl.exe I wouldn't promise it would work but I'd certainly have a go.
