Well as long as I don't have to chop trees for weeks and weeks just to raise my character level by 1, only to be immediately mowed down by some git on a horse calling himself "Lord of Evil Goldfish" then I'll be happy :)

heh join one of the carebear servers (we're mainly on Leafcull) and you have to do a quest before you go pk )player killer) so you wont get mowed down by any player just the beasts ;). Levelling is a LOT quicker than UO, give Kwee or MrKwee a /tell and I should be able to kickstart your char :)

Cheers mateys! Unfortunately, thanks to my wobbly internet connection at the minute, I'm still downloading the patch ;( However I shall jump on to Leafcull as soon as it's finished and installed (although the carebears sounds quite scarey tbh)

I'd almost completed the download when my connection suddenly dropped, on redialing, Gozilla in it's infinite wisdom decided to start the download from scratch overwriting the 80 odd megs I've already downloaded :bigcry:

Does anyone know whether the patch is available on a coverdisk anywhere?

I used DAP to download a backup coppy no problems :) Over about three weeks aswell :)
