Man, I was just remembering how damn GOOD that used to be. It seemed to get very "politiaclly correct" going into the 90's though.

Tucker Jenkins, Benny Green, Zammo, Ziggy, Robbie, and who can forget the evil Gripper Stebson!!! (I have skipped through a few years of it with those names) :E

And the big fat chap with the specks, cant remember his name now.

I also remember the "Zammo getting into smack" episodes which were done WAY more explicit than they would do it now, which also spawned that most exellent "Just Say No" slogan complete with song and video!

Anyone also remember "Tucker's Luck"??

Childrens TV at its best in the eighties! :talk:

Grange Hill was like a survial guide for high school. I think Ziggy was my favourite. Was Rolly the fat kid you were talking about?

Rolly was indeed the obese child at the school ( cos I used to call ALL fat kids Rolly, back in the day ). what age did Ziggy eventually leave the show at ?

BTW should all TV shows pronounce 'smack' & 'drugs' the same way as a stressed out Jackie Corkhill
