Ikonboard (again!)

I am trying to install this board onto the MG site I am doing and I have uploaded all the scripts etc correctly, all CHMODS are correct and I can runn the installer, but....

Acording to oneandone my root directory is / but when I try and use this in the installer ie. "/harrogatemgclub/cgi-bin/ikonboard/" it wont find any of the installed folders etc. I have tried allsorts of combinations without success. The default directory that the installer puts in is something like "/homepages/8/54345345/harrogatemgclub...." but this doesnt work either. :(

Should the webspace root folder be longer? does anyone else here use oneandone?

Could be a number of things, 1st try this:

Firstly in "where cgi scripts are installed" you have a double ikonboard dir at the end, shouldnt it be only one?

Use the path given in the installer but take the extra ikon bit away:

/homepages/blah blah blah/cgi-bin/ikonboard/

not

/homepages/blah blah/cgi-bin/ikonboard/ikonboard/

as you have the installer.cgi in cgi-bin/ikonboard I would think the other scripts will be in same place to...

"What's the location of your Ikonboard" also has the double ikonboard dirs at the end you only need one.

Try that 1st and see how you get on.

Its all working fine and dandy now. Not a bad board once you get it installed.

Thanks again for the help (it was the double Ikonboard directory that was the problem. It appears that the script adds it on a second time. As soon as I deleted one it went straight in.
