cas2

i've just ran sis sandra and it says my memory will run at pc 100 cas 2. The mempries fairly old. I fi do set it to cas 2 will it mess things up or will it just be a case of swithing it back to cas 3?

if it doesnt work it wont boot up, therefore you open up the case and have to reset the bios otherwise it keeps trying the memory at cas 2 and unless the default is cas 2, therefore its at cas 2 already and we wouldnt be having the time delayed conversation anyway.
but.....
there should be a jumper, locate it using the mobo manual, its normally by the power light/button switch connectors. i think most of them are labelled j20 or around that number.
you have to switch it turn your system on, nuthin will happen then put it back and boot up.
it will reset everything else though inculding any tweaks and stuff.
