and i still aint been on it yet :(
anyway
i have installed the drivers about 10 times now
and i have been told by ppl i am missin protocols in network :/
anyway when i try to dial all i get is " you were disconnected by the computer u dialed"
please !!!!!!! help!!!!!!!
:)
OK, first up is what card are you using?
Most come with some kind of line test utility. Have you tried this and does it pass the test?
Do the drivers seem to install OK. Or is it just the fact that you can't connect makes you think something is wrong with the drivers?
Check the cable.
If it does pass the line test, check that the nummber you are dialing.
A lot of ISP's have different numbers for ISDN access.
Gameplay/Wireplay use the same number as 56k access (which you should already have) so use this as a test.
I think I've put in more questions than answers :) but come back here if this doesn't help.

this happened to me too - it turned out the cable supplied with the asuscom card was the wrong type (not being a techie i didn't know what it was sposed to look like)
The cable should be white and fir snuggly into the linebox, if it is a grey cable that looks more like a modem cable phone your supplier and describe it to them, solwise sent me a new cable by next day delivery. (don't buy one they are pretty dear for a few metres of cable)
Check that you have run the ISDN configuration proggy too
(start programs, accessories, communications, ISDN configuration)
If you reinstall the asus drivers you have to run lnkclean to totally remove them.
I'm not sure what card you have but as i said, check the cable, check you have set up the configuration wizard, and check all cables are firmly in place
Defrag
Just a quick note about the cable.
If you do ever need a new one just buy some CAT5 UTP RJ45 network cable.
Does exactly the same job. :)

one more thingy
ONCE it did connect but nuttin would load
icq would not load msn webpages etc =[
so basically there was nuttin i could do at all :/
This might seem a little obvious but give it a go :)
With the ASUSCOM card u get 2 cables, 1 with small connectors either side and one with large connectors (phone jack size).
Make sure you are using this last one. Plug one end into the left hand blue channel of HH (i presume this is what you have) and plug the other end of the cable in the lower hole of the card.
Make sure you have a service light on your box on the wall and when you plug the cable in one of the little ASUS green box things on your status bar should go light green (on).
This indicates a healthy ISDN connection. Try the linetest thang and it should go ok .. The other green lights go light green (on) when you connect to the net...
Hope this helps :)

Only if you have a POTS port on the card.
You can get the card without a POTS port. So you will only have 1 cable.
Oooh Picky :)
The rest still applies :E

i got one cable
and btw it's the card without analouge
Sorry puz, wasn't trying to be picky. :)
Just thought it might be confusing if he thinks something is missing which he hasn't necessarily got.
When I get home later I'll check out my other comp which has the asus card and see if I can find anything for you.

ok i kinda fixed it
i disabled my sound card and it worked =]
but now me has no sound :/

Ah, well in that case re-install your sound card into a different PCI socket.
There was obviously some kind of conflict.
I had the same problem between my sound card and an ethernet card.
Swapping them around normally solves the problem.

Game,go into system and make sure all of them dont have the gh3y /!\ sign
No probs Desmo :E
Ah it sounds like he has a IRQ or mem address conflict.
As Tarquin check the System tab in the control panel for any
! etcs and see if it will let you move the irq or mem address from the default.
Otherwise move the cards about which causes windows to try a different Irq (presuming your motherboard is reasonably new)
