Jokes Forum.....

Well, I created a website, I created a forum, so far so good.... but what to do with it.....:confused:

I was thinking of creating a forum where everybody can post their jokes.
Do you guys think that it will be cool and used?
Will YOU use it??
do you want te help me with creating the largest Jokes-forum around????????

Skunk's number 1 rule of low traffic forum design - do NOT force your users to register before they can post stuff! If someone drops by your site, sees the joke forum and wants to post a joke then discovers they'll have to sign up for a username/password (and possibly wait for the password to come through in an e-mail) theyjust won't bother. If all they have to do is fill in their name / e-mail address and the joke and up it goes then you'll have another joke on the forum.

If I didn't have to register I might post a joke on your forum - if I had to register I just wouldn't bother.

Joke forum eh... I don't really think it will be very popular...

You need to think of something that is very popular and very original. Maybe make on on the next major game that comes out that you like.

No harm in trying it though.

tbh, i just created my site to learn webstuff.
And since i wanted a forum, I made one, but didn't knew what to put on it.

The purpost of my forum is for me to learn PHP by creating hacks 4 it. And it's always nicer to work on a forum with content than on an empty forum. :E

Depends who your target audience would be... if it was adults (lots of swearing, dirty jokes, etc.) then I would be tempted to check it out, but if its lots of sad, sad, terribly cheesy kids jokes then I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.
