Must say I'm impressed with AC - I've tried UO (crap interface) and EQ (just didn't like it), but the atmosphere and mechanics of AC beats em both by a long shot.

I think I could grow to like EQ after those annoying early levels, but for all the players there are, the couple of times I've played it I never got much attention

UO is just a pain in the arse in terms of everything I think... lineagethebloodpledge.com is a kind of updated version of UO in open beta atm... it's not *toooooo* bad but AC beats it

I made one (prefab archer) and ditched it already.
Made a custom one who seems better so far...but he's currently lost in the desert near Samsur trying to find a portal :{
I want a guy who can use sword and bow and a small amount of magic (item enchantment) I think.
I've heard its best to stick to one weapon, but I want to be able to use both really.

using more than 1 is a big waste !, its best to stick to 1 main weapon and use the skill points you have for better things, sword will be best for you and once i get a template sorted for you i will bring you to eastham. my home town and the best place for you to level at this stage :)
