A whole new level of racism

Well, as much as I love this game, I hope the everyones ready for the racism.

Ive already seen plenty of take, take a UK server Ive just come from.

To which I replied:-

"Germans"

The thing is a LOT of Germans actually play this game, in fact most of the people Ive seen play it speak german, so it looks like its another excuse for the muppets to drag up that old favourite "We won the war".

Why cant people just let it lie, I mean, ffs the people that play this game probably dont even know anyone that was in the war... can't they just leave it?

that is just indicative of the latent racism that simmers just below the surface of a lot of British people...and just makes the cretins making such comments look even more like the ignorant pond life that they are.

if people forget that they are playing a game they would be better of just going and killing themselves now and removing themselves from the gene pool altogether, cos they are a section of our gaming community we can do without thanks very much

I quite agree, Anti German/British/American remarks should carry a penalty of at least what you would expect for TKing. Please make sure the admins understand that.

tough 1 but i think must peeps are just having a joke especially when there's m8's on the server

example from me last nite
/me throws gren at germans and kills 2 of them

no bad feelings intended just having a laugh, no1 on the server complained, most peeps joined in and it never got too offencive, but of course that depends on peeps POV

But with a WWII game ur bound to get some extent of racism :|

well first off to be pedantic ... it's not racism it's nationalism which is slightly differnt.

but like del said, if it's in game banter with a humourous use of the stereotype names ....then i see no problem, but imo if a single person on the server complains then you should just say "ok sorry it wasn't meant as offensive i was just joking" and then you don't say it again ... which is what 99.9999% of people here and on servers would do ... the other people are the ones people will need to look out for.
