Router and IRC

I have just installed a Linksys BEFSR41 router and everything seems to be fine apart from connecting to irc.

Could nebody help me solve this problem.
I think it could be t he firewall within the router, if it is how do I get round this.

Straight from the manual page 35, last question

How do i get mIRC to work with the router?
Set port forwarding to 113 for the computer on which you are using mIRC.

( i presume mIRc is the same as IRC :)

Don't use it me self
