I have noticed that people are not compressing there images before posting them to the boards. This isn't much of a problem as you can read the boards whilst the piccy downloads. But realise that people won't look at your picture unless they are patient and your efforts will be wasted. As a rule never post a picture over 64k ... I am really bad at this. To really check if your image takes longer to download than you can hold your breath people wont bother to watch it download. That rule also applies to websites.
