i got an email from recruitment but i have no idea how they got ahold of me. my cv is on monster, and another online db but they normally mention if they got your details from there.

have i been headhunted?

I would watch that headhunting business - very dodgy in some cases... there was a report doing the rounds a while back... basically the story goes like this :
PersonA would receive an e-mail, asking them if they would like to apply for a job. Of course, it was made out so it looked like it came from a big(ger) company than the one the person worked for. It would offer big benefits and a bigger paycheck... of course, what the Person didn't know was that it came from their own company (likely to be your boss) and he/she was just trying to figure out how loyal you were to the company.
Don't know if there was any truth to those reports, but I would watch your back! :E

I work for a recruitment company, and that doesnt relly go on. Most people get caught going into highstreet recruiters at lunchtime, when ya boss is out shopping, he/she sees you, then they kick your ass !

If you are looking for a job, do it all at home, dont bring anything to work :)
