Map Utah Playtest

[Dingle]

well... some of us tried it earlier, and to be honest, its not that good. Well thats what we thought anyway. Its another beach assault map, the idea is to destroy the big guns at the back, however for all our efforts we couldnt figure out how to do it! There isnt any TNT on the map (unless its very well hidden), its a bit too dark and its very linear.

Improvements I would make...

1) put TNT on the map!

2) make it lighter

3) make another route up to the cliff.



prolly more, but its late and I'm tired.

Erm, there are two TNTs!!

one of the left of the beach, about middle way up and the other on the right.

Its quite easy to see!

Collect the TNT, and walk into the guns and they explode :)

i liked it too ... and ding, you lot said there was no tnt, me and dent didn't go down onto the beach :P

when we all had a chat about it afterwards, dingle and nerdy both said that it needed another way up ... having been axis with dent the whole time i can't really say as i didn't see it from their view, but perhaps another way up somehow, whether ropes to the side, or a wall to blow up to get into the bottom of the bunker or something ?

one thing i have to say is how about some realism in the maps i like omaha and all but why not try to work out some system like the gas propelled grappling hooks that they actually used to get up the cliffs when they assulted omaha and adjusting the respawn times seperately so allies respawn fast cos there were thousands storming beaches and axis spawn slightly slower cos there wernt so many

You can go up the left hand side, although you still need to go up to where you can blow the fence up, then move to your left, you can then jump up!

now I'm convinced we either have different builds of this map or your talking about another one. I've just been running around it and there is no TNT on the beach. Also there aint no way up the left hand side.

I reckon you're taking about Omaha Roast?
