View Full Version : Need a File Indexer Script {CGI/PHP?}
It's for a site which has a lot of ZIP files in different directories. Instead of manually linking to the files with an html page I would like a script to automatically generate the html page linking to the files and maybe even mentioning the file size but that's not essential.. is it possible?
Any help much appreciated.

Thanks SpArKy, I looked around those sites and wasn't sure where to look to be honest, there are so many scripts on there. I did try one PHP script but it gave me this error:
Directory Listing Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.
Can anyone recommend a script they have used for a similar purpose? It has to be NT compatible too :|.
Yeah i want something like that
never seen anything around tho :(
Ok, I forgot my host doesn't support PHP(doh!), but does support ASP. I found an ASP script that is like the kind of thing I'm after.. but it doesn't have the other features I wanted.

I would like one I can edit the look of more, has a search facility, and counts the number of downloads. Don't ask too much do I? :P. Mucho thanks to anyone that can help me :).
