what would be the minimum connection and how much would it cost to host a few small websites??

i'm thinking of using this system, p3 450 192Mb RAM, as a server and just wondering what the charges would be.

What are you using to connect your server to the internet, or did you want to know how much a leased line would cost?

It really depends on how many users you expect to visit these web sites per day? Is it a business or personal?

personal, i'd say at most 100 a day so nothing major.

With that amount a basic home ADSL service will do, but it doesn't have the reliability. Otherwise there is the leased line route but at a cost of 5,000 a year odd for a 256Kb connection. If the websites are not that important, then go with ADSL.

Nildram seem to be reliable from most people's experiences, and you get a static IP address.
