i just bin playin that Streets map (not Snowtown) and some lamer was just sitting in the tank blowing up his teamies as they tried to scramble over the slope. The whole team then started chucking grens into the tank, wasting ammo on him and so forth.

what kind of stupid ***** does these things. every1 was shouting at him to get off the server and the idiot just sat there saying nothing. also, the concept of "spawn camping" is taken to new heights in this mod. especially on vn61 when some dick can run down and sit in the landing vessels.

i thought it would be a good idea for a thread:

what kind of punishment should spawn campers and tkers get or what would you like to see in the next beta to stop this type of behaviour? id make em run around glowing pink with no weapons for the duration...:E

If I see someone deliberately TKing then I'll kick them, and if neccesary ban them.

Spawn camping is a toughy... what are you meant to do on maps such as Omaha when you get up on the cliff and you don't have the TNT? stand around and wait to be killed? Its basicly bad design on the mappers part that causes the spawn camping... they need to make it so the teams spawn in areas that cannot be accessed by the enemy.

So I'm not too sure about spawn camping atm....

well on snow town and one of the beach ones spawn camping is a real pain

its just no fun to sapwn be shot span be shot

the Allies on snowtown spawn is out the way at least but the german one is in an area you have to apss through to get to the back of the Axis bunker so your in trouble if you spawn but also you get problems with people just sitting there or as tey run through leaving 1 or 2 grenades in the spawn area so you span and your dead almost

I was playing VN61 the other day and had a generally enjoyable game. However it was somewhat ruined by some allied guy who managing to get off the beach then decided to go into one of those small axis spawn rooms near the beach and camp it for the whole round, must have been great fun just sitting there shooting stationary soldiers as they appear..... That is until i chucked a couple of grens in and ratted him out. The point being, spawn camping is extremely annoying and not exactly fair, i think it should be given the same treatment as tking.

spawn camping is mean and nasty if i see someone doing it ill warn them, that should be enough,

if they craay on "harsher measures" would be undertaken, this only includes vn61 where axis spawn camping is far too powerful, its a neccesary tactic in my opinion on omaha to pin enemy dowqn while your m8 runs and plants tnt, but a second spawn pointnear the left bunker would be great for the axis to balance this

and whenever i get spawn killed its always a bloody foreigner who i cant argue with properly :P
