then hopefully wireplay will see we need more, i have spent the best part of the day trying to get on the wireplay one buts its always full, as for the ones in game :cry:

Well i think wireplay do know we need more servers and i bet they are working on it but they don't come from fin air m8, alot more mods and games are askin for servers too.
Wireplay will no doubt have alot more servers, just wait for them m8.

Well at 2 o'clock last nite i waited over 15 min for a free slot, in the end i went and played CS :dozey:
I'm sure wp are aware that one server isnt enough, trouble is, servers arent an unlimited resource.
we need to find an unpopular game that servers arnt used much .. CS any one :P hmm cant think of any :cry:

More servers would be a plus, but at the moment hype is quite high. Wait for the rush to die down and then we will prob get more servers!
yeah and then the number of players dies down and one server becomes enought the one thing is that CS has more servers than any other mod because they are all full and all used so they arent likely to take them away from CS unless they reduce the number of clan servers, which again is unlikely due to its popularity, lets just hope they are going to buy some new servers :E

More servers please. I spent all weekend trying to get on to the WP sever. Netgames is ok, but prone to muppet infestation.

hmm just change a cs server over, since at 4am odd the dod server is STILL full :angry:
atm we need about 3 normal servers and 1 clan server....

More servers WP bods ... half of the Half-life mod servers don't have anybody on them most of the time so change a couple of them over ...
I dont want to stir trouble but it looks like ..ahem ..MPZ have 2!! Dod servers up and running

All we ask is a quick post telling us that their isnt enough server or there are servers on there way

come on wireplay 1 server just isnt enough, that should be obvious as its packed 24/7 so more DOD servers pls, if you dont have enough just ask barrysworld im sure they will give you a competative price for theirs :E

server seems to be full at all times. And as I understand it, wireplay endevours to provide however many servers r needed for some1 to always get a game. cs seems to have died down a little. perhaps a couple of those servers could be butchered :)
Yes more servers now. It's 2 AM and the server is still full.
Like it is all the time.

take a look at the the costs entailed...:
actual box: 3-5 grand
bandwidth: considering the fact that this game is already hugely popular the dod servers will consume as much as the cs ones by the time they are installed.
if gameplay is its own isp then i guess they could save on this but i dunno the answer to that one. i think its about 6 grand a year for an e1 line, that is 2.5Mbit if memory serves me correctly. i dont know how fast WP servers are but they must at least be thereabouts. so the peeps upstairs in the boardroom obviously have to talk the decision to death :) b4 they commit the resources, when there are lots of other things that need doing.

but then again, some1 had a really good idea which unfortunately wasnt picked up on, and it was to post a password to the server on the forum.
if it was changed every day then those German llamaz couldn't get in :E

it ive only played the game once as server is always
full, i also posted on halflife board cos i can find no link
to the dod forum from the wireplay software so i had a bunch
off idiots telling me i shouldnt post about mods on there
forum and one nice one who give me the right links.

its not viable with just one server - its only an option for tfc because they have lots.
