Play247 vs DVDBoxoffice

I see alot of you use Play to get ya Region 1 DVDs
So i thought id give them a try.
The prices on Play are terrible
example:
Went to order Digimon the Movie for my boy
Price on Play247 was £17.41 including 5% thing
Price on DVD Box Office is £11.73 delivered

They are the cheapest and very reliable

Well play have not been doing to well in the past few months. But it has started to pick up again. And you can get your dvds in 3-4 days. The do cost a bit more but what 5% thing.

Well I have only used play Play247 once but I would prefer to buy from them even though they are a bit more expensive because they are based in the UK. Therefore I can pay using my switch card (really don't want to use my credit card to pay) and if there is a fault you don't have to send them back to America. Most of there prices cost the same as a new DVD in the UK so they are comparable. What's that 5% extra you were on about. You just pay the price quoted and the P&P is free.

In my experience DVDBOxOffice aren't the best comparison. Although they've managed to deliver to me in 2 weeks before, on a number of occasions they've taken 3 weeks or more. You could walk the disc here quicker than that.

They're also generally more expensive than http://www.absound.ca. AB also usually deliver in under a week...

The 5% thing was on the order form for Play247
It said £1 extra if you use debit card or 5% on top if you use Cedit card.

Ive had films of DVDBoxoffice in under a week.The main trouble i have with them is DTS discs,they seem hard to get.

Well after i bought my player, i started gettin magazines. I seen a smallish ad for Play247. I thought id try it out, it was the first place i bought DVDs from. The services was good. The price was good. And the site was good. I dont really look at other places because i know that play will be one of the overall best. But i tend to stick with the first people i buy from.

i have seen a few posts about play on here lately and about their service. But it has been fine with me. Normal Royal Mail 3 day delivery. They get order out next day. Great!

You should try looking at Boxoffice prices you can save £4-7 a disk in some cases
