Germans camping in the ocean on omaha waiting for u to spawn.

What a joke.

I was having such a good day until then

The WHOLE andi mean WHOLE german side with snipers, heavy weapons etc sitting in that boat thats capsized and people with knoives in teh water killing us all as soon as we respawned

I didnt even get chance to loo karound to see what was going on i died so fast.

I dont think anyone in our team got higher than 10 kills and less than 30-40 deaths.

What a waste of my time and i bet everyone elses there.

i mean i didnt mind the fact they were sitting other side of that bigrock and throwing grens in water, i mean in the acual war they hard mortas being chuked at them.

But camping in the water is plain silly and bad sportsmanship.

Please ca we get some machine gun implacements added to all spawn points. Maybe a tank on teh non water levels and a boat with a gunner on the sea levels.

No one imho can play like that.

Sorry for teh huge rant but it really turned a VERY good day into a dismall p1ssed off day!

cept we couldnt even spawn, just sat in observer mode cos the spawn points were covered by allies....

Probably best to bring this up on the official DoD forum as wp cant do things like change maps and the like.

If you're just having a winge about it then ignore me. :)

If I'm on the wp server and I see this kind of behaviour, I'll ask the offenders to stop, if they dont I suppose I'll have to kick them from the server.

The maps need redesigned, with some safe spawn areas, and perhaps auto guns like flf has to stop spawn camping.

For the Axis perhaps a spawn inside the back of the map, with maybe some sandbags laid out so that even if allies are camping the spawn to a degree it still makes for a good firefight and is even.

As for the allies spawn, well i wouldnt allow axis onto the beach at all. I'm not sure if it can be done just to affect one team but to not allow axis onto the beach would improve the whole map.

This Mod is set on what happens in war, know i dont think the Germans really wanted to let the allies, nicely get off there boats and get up off the beach before they started shooting them.

well thats my opinon, aye it is annoying, but its kinder set on real life

Germans wouldnt have gone on the beach!!!!!
It was mined and riddled with machinegun/morter/artilery fire, they'd have to be crazy to go running down the beach to meet the GI's coming off the boats.

Well then if u let the axis sit in teh ocean then that would be further away from real life as u try to say.

Like Dentist said, there mortas and mnes on that beach and the germans wouldnt have dreamt about running down the beach with there knife sit in teh water and stab all the GI's coming onto the beach.

I say have boats out in the ocean with machine guns popping off thoughs that try to run down the beach.

During D-Day the allies did come up against the Hitler-youth SS brigade, and those bast*rds were ****ed up, they would do anything to save Hilter, thats why it took so long 4 the amercains to get off the beach
