GP's trusty release radar has just informed me that B&W is now due on the 6th of April, Booooooooooooooooooo
Oh well I suppose it gives me more time to sort out work, home life etc before they have to be put on the back burner ;)

This is UNBELIEVABLE NEWS !
One of the moderators of the site http://www.LIONHEAD.COM has announced a rather official shipping date of END FEBRUARY . His name is Jamie Durrant who actually works for Lionhead!
So until Jamie wont tell me that the release date has been postponed again I simply REFUSE to believe this sites announcement of april 6 !
I agree that jamie should be believed but we have been here before. I notice the announcemnet on the Lionhead board has changed from end of feb to end of feb beggining of March so is this softening us up for the bad news.
Also It mentions that they will announce the specs required soon. I thought that had already been determined. I wont be able to get it if they increase them much!

Gameplays release radar is not trusty... it s mostly wrong (sorry but it is) its wrong as u like.
--> The EA and Lionhead sites still say feb/march
for reference other sites have this to say....
amazon = march
eb = feb 28
special reserve = march
gonegold = TBA
So make your own mind up i know which sites id trust
Some site that knows feck all or the publishers ans developers of Black & White?????????????

It will be released later rather than sooner, so the end of Feb date is unfortunately wrong :hmph:

Well EA sent B+W back to Lionhead to fix 375 bugs........guess we`ll have to wait:tongue:

yeah...but that was unofficial information, we dont know if the person who made that claim had real information or if its all misinformation - which spreads twice as fast........

I can't say how i got the information *wink wink, nudge, nudge* but the feb date seems highly unlikely and as to TouchSense Technology http://www.gameplay.com/news/860572 being used, all i can say is (in the style of the woman in the fast show) "HA!"

Shame it is delayed, however lets hope it gives them a chance to make it bug free etc, straight out the box.

Just heard from the lionhead people that the game is still due to released asap. EA have set a final release date of the 30th of March for it to be in the shops.
Lionhead say that if it is possible for it to arrive before then it will.
Keep waiting people.

Of course you guys realise that the sooner it comes out the buggier it'll be. I would advise hoping that it comes out later rather than sooner, but not too late, obv.
Or alternatively look forward to a patch soon (Red Alert 2 had one before it was even released in the UK)
I had heard it was already code frozen, and was virtually ready to go a lovely golden shade.

The offical lionhead forum says the lasted will be 30th march. This also is the last day of the finatual year. EA must want to get it out before then so as to infulence their share price.

The official lionhead forum also states thes its still on for an end of FEB start of MAR release..........anyone notice an echo around here:p

Forgive me for stating the obvious but it'll be out when it's out, why not just leave it at that? Why not leave the waiting for it in the background of your life, get on with other things and then when it DOES come out, it'll be all like "oooh, what a lovely surprise, the postman has just handed me Black and White. I'll just install it, shall I?" It is that precise thought that has kept me sane waiting for Team Fortress 2 so trust me :wink:
Gah, that's nearly as bad as waiting on tenterhooks for the release of Duke Nukem 4Ever.
