You can't have redcare and ISDN on the same phone and that's it! There is no way of getting around this.

Redcare uses the same frequencies that ISDN uses so it just won't work. All you can do is get another telephone line installed, or remove the redcare.

I'll hazard a guess that redcare works on an inaudible analog frequency which is not converted to digital to go down the ISDN line. Hence don't work.

2 reasons 1 true one less than accurate.
reason 1:redcare is infact a team of commando grasshoppers that patrol your phone line day and night(if u have a redcare line you would have heard them chirping away in the background)and alert the relavent people if your line is tampered with in any way.however due to the increased line voltage of isdn,adsl and dacs lines the grasshoppers find conditions to uncomfortable to patrol your line and they hop off to find some grass to smoke.
or it could be
reason 2:the exchange based monitoring that checks for tampering(cant say what the tests are for obvious reasons)cant monitor your line due to the time division multiplex nature of isdn,dacs and dsl lines.

Wonder weather you can in the near future.........

So..... /me will get another line for all those grass smokers errrmm hoppers :) to patrol and chirp away to one another (They do aswell you know, ACCIDENT knows his sh1t ;) )
