Errm me again :D
Just wondered if you peeps could translate some of the gringo lingo that I've been coming across:

nerf?
twinking?
macroing?
hollow weapons?
buffs / debuffs?!

And add some u think I may be interested in/will hear ;)

Cheers!

PS I think I've worked out what services a 'mule' provides to lonely travellers, but I've had enough of that from UT with JG and his sheep ;)

>nerf?

It's the artform of 'breaking mages' and making melee characters more powerful (see hollow weapon). Basically its when turbine see that somethings too powerful so they make it more balanced. Usually results in mages getting royally fluffed over ;)

>gimp?

Nuke of the north! haha :D

A gimp is a character that isn't as optomised as it could be. For instance, an archer with low coordination to start with (hence lower bow skill to start with), or a character that misspent skill credits (Lockpick anyone?).

>twinking?

Powerlevelling, making newbie guys fight things that are WAY too tough for them normally. By 'buffing' (see below) the noob, they can do enough damage to kill the beasts, without being killed themselves.

>macroing?

Lammmmmmmmmmmmmmmme. Running a program to do 'something' for you. Macroing isn't lame if its for trade skills (ie, a little program that combines your arrows together), however its been hijacked by lazy people and can be used to level their mages by repeatedly casting spells on themselves, while the owners sleep.

>hollow weapons?

Mage-toadters. Made for Player vs Player, these things ignore all magic (so you can't cast beneficial spells onto them, and they dont care if you put impenitrability (sp) VI on your robe ;)

>buffs / debuffs?!

Buff = cast spells to make better
Debuff = cast spells to make worse ;)

Hope this helps, can you tell i'm bored? :)
