View Full Version : ISDN Connectivity

I've been beating my head on this problem for quite a while it's a splinter in my side now. I have an in-house LAN (over cat5 of course) connecting to my Webramp hub. This hub is also an ISDN modem. I've checked and rechecked all my settings for it, but everything seems fine to me. I don't have any filters enabled and I'm not using the hub as a firewall or anything like that.
Basically, the problem I'm having is that while internet pages, instant messengers, and some games work just fine on it, some games simply don't work at all. I just want to play games over the internet. The games I play where it works fine are Unreal Tournament and Half-Life mods (TFC, CS, DoD, etc.). However, the games where I cannot get the games to recognize the other computer (and the other computers can't see me) are Falcon4, Age Of Empires 2, and Baldur's Gate 2. I can ping the other computer from my comp and the hub just fine and they can ping me fine. However, the game simply doesn't ever connect. And of course when I switch back to plain old dialup, it'll work but it's often intolerably laggy (24k on these mud-filled Alabama phone lines). Any help here would be GREATLY appreciated.
