TBH i think you should have got the asuscom internal isdn card. Ive got that and it has worked ever since I got it, average ping of about 80.

What are youre cs settings, ie rate and pushlatency, check that you have the latest drivers.

Hi hellsangel..have i just seen u in CS? I have the ASUS INTERNAL and it rules using the drivers on CD [now on v 360.] My settings are as follows:

cl_download_ingame "0"
cl_allowdownload "0"
cl_allowupload "0"
cl_cmdrate "10"

and also i have an autoexec with a bumch of hidden settings which helps get a lower ping:

r_decals "10"
mp_decals "10"
r_dynamic "0"
gl_keeptjunctions "0"
gl_polyoffset "4.0"

When I first got my ISDN I had that same card the external elsa usb modem, and yes it is crap! 150 ping on a ISDN bah!, took it back and got a internal Diva card and now I get 17-70 ping ,now thats more like it.

External ISDN adapters are FAR worse than the internal equivilant for pings, but afaik the same for download/bandwidth and stability. Also if you're on BTinternet then thats another explanation.

ISDN is so *early* 90s man

oh yes and I see no reason for pushlatency to be anything less than -9999999 unless you really want to feel the lag.
