How many points you got..

hehehe I know it's a weird topic, but I thought it might be interesting to know how you actually got them more than anything else.

I got stung for 6 points in a two week period, basically I got caught on video doing 36 and then 41 in a 30 linit. Instant £40 fines and 3 points for each offence. The thing that really pissed me off was the fact that it happened on the exact same stretch of road. GRRRRRR. It wasn'tt even a fixed video camera, it was one of those *******s they set up in an un-marked police car. What they did was park the car on the grass verge next to the main road, set the camera up in the car and leave it there all day catching ppl. As well as me I know of 3 friends it also caught..

..Nice to know the police have their priorities in order :E


Then only one week later I got fined £20 for using a mobile phone while driving.....lol again it was an unmarked car. I think me calling the guy who booked me a bellend (he was a right pompous fooking git)didn't help, but least I felt better.

4, and thats me being the luckiest ****er i know when it comes to getting booked.

over the last 3 weeks ive been stopped 4 times and let off every single time.
3 weeks ago i was seen doing 53mph in a 30 zone and they followed me home in their big souped up BMW before pulling me over and then let me off because it was 3am, PHEW!
and just last night at the end off the dual carriageway the basts were sitting in their souped up jeep thingy hiding behind some trees and reckoned they saw me wheel spinning away from the first set off lights at the roundabout then racing through the other 3 before heading onto the motorway (beating these lights all in a row is hard as ****, hardly ever manage it), they were right ofcourse but i just blethered a load of rubbish about how i tired i was and just wanting to get home and the poor dafties believed me. sigh, so lucky the cops round here are sound else i'd be shafted :E

gotta say though i reckon i know the whereabouts off every single speed camera around here so its no prob, although one day those basts are gonna catch me out weaving in and out off traffic racing along the dual carriageway, that should wipe the smile of my face :mad:

Thirty Six Miles An Hour! And they booked you for it! Those *******s! I find it bloody hard to stick at 30 and below in a 30 zone (depending on the road, of course - if there's tons of cars parked by the side it's easier, but there's loads of roads which are begginf to be upped to 40 and they're so difficult to keep your speed down on).

Driven 10 years points free so far, but I'm sure it's a matter of tome before it happenes - especially now I've got the VR6 and I'm intending on modifying it make it even quicker.

Been pulled over plenty of times, though. Always used to get the ol' 7 day wonders for illegal tyres when I was younger and poorer!

k, i cant drive, but heres a mmidly amusing story....

one of me old mans m8s was getting a lift home with some lass after the christmas doo, so it was about 4am. well, they came to a red light, n he was like, och theres no1 about, dont matter, just go on thru. she did, and then noticed the cop car sitting behind her....£50 fine, and 3points, but me dads m8 wouldnt pay it cos he thought was so funny, and it was his fault:)

Lost 6 points on th M27 on my way to work, i was doing 125 in my avensis!

I got pulled over, but let on my way, with the cop car flashing his lights in front of me!

Nice and the points we're revoked!!

Me and a m8 were doing about 165mph down the A12, and didn't get caught :P
