This little golden nugget of info was picked up on in a discussion of a friend who works for BT.
In mid late december BT will be launching their new totally free, all the time, service.
For just £10 a month u can surf till your eyes fall out.
There may be a few teething probs but with any luck we'll all be surfing happily into the new millenium.
and Finally hooray to BT who has finally listened to out insistant rambling about free calls.
Well here u have it. u heard it here first.
tell me, is this an upgrade for the existing package or will we have to ****about as they milk us for whatever the minmum leaving period is and charge us money?

****y or not its a start for free calls. Yes Callnet0800 offer free internet, but is anyone on it yet? I signed up for over a month now and still nothing has come through the post. If they are really that good why is it no one is on it yet? They say "we can handle all of the UK network", bull****, consider there are over 60 million people in the UK and at least half with computers at home and say that 15 million signed on within the year because its free can you think how slow it will be?! Heard of the saying "you don`t get anything without inputing".

1. Performance is going to be pants for this new service, just look at free weekend.
2. I think wireplay should go back to the way it was this time last year, i usd to be able to have a decent game of duke with no noticable lag most of the time but now it is just stupid, it has become unplayable as well as many other games.
3. It's a good start though, if BTI put in the new modems and routers like they have promised to then we could have quite a nice service going, but what is going to happen to the Campain for Unmetered Internet Access?
