Dr. Doom - arf!!arf!! you can't go wrong with a complete psycho in an iron suit who would do anything to destroy the FF and take over the world!! :D

green goblin - excellent bad guy...biggest mistake was bringing him back after he supposedly "died" in his "final" battle....and what an excuse to bring him back..a formula which gave him a healing factor..pfffft! :hmph:

bane - you don't destroy batman and not be rememberd as a bad guy.

predator - after reading bats vs. predator my opinion has changed completley. pure, brutal and sadistic and we don't have to hear him babble on.

watchmen - what was that guy's name again??can't remember...damn...i had absolutely no idea it was him until when it was first revealed..i was like when in hell are they going to reveal who the bad guy is??????

and i certainly haven't read as many comics as you guys here so enlighten me please. :)
when i think of more i'll put'em up. :D

agreed on Dr.Doom - Greatest pompus Super-Villain EVEEEEEeeer

Magneto holds a special place for having a gang called Brotherhood of Evil Mutants - no mistaking which side of the fence they fall on :)

Starr always is a favourite due to his constant non-waivering commitment to his own agenda

Ozymandias was the dude from Watchmen - incidentally if you liked Watchmen you'll probably like V is for Vendetta, also by Moore

:mrt: I pity da crazy foo who be causing so much trouble dat some oder foo be hiring me to take em down

Tao from Alan Moore's run on WildCATS. OK, I admit, he was pretty much a retread of Ozymandias but he was such a cool, manipulative ******* I couldn't help but cheer for him. I really wanted him to win :)

But was Ozymandias that much of a bad guy?

OK he killed half of NY but his heart was in the right place. :D

I liked the dreams first version of the corinthian in Sandman. He was mean.

Ozymandias was cool.

Also, Sir William Whitney Gull, in From Hell (I think he about qualifies as a villain)

Moore is great for bad guys....

Buaku in Dominion is a great 'comedy villain' as well. comedy villains in western productions, comic or film, usually just end up as camp fools. (though with all the s*** heaped on him, Starr is almost a comedy in himself... *spoilerish bits* My mate and I were fully expecting him to die in some vastly, grotesquely perverted way, cause that'd be the only thing that could top what had already happened to him, but it wasn't to be...)
