Hi,
I got a little problem and it goes a little something like this :-

When I install my scanner (card) which is a ISA card, and boot up windows it gets as far as the clock count and then the screen goes black with a blinking cursor =(

This never used to happen b4 i changed mobo's ..
Ive spoke to a few ppl and they reckon it could an irq confliction.. Ive tried assingning ISA to every irq in the list still no joy =( Im running out of ideas....

- Scanner Hewlett packard scanjet 5p
- OS Windows 98
If any one can help buzz back here

cheers

u can't 'switch' a jumper

u might have to take the jumper right off the pins or if there are for example 3 pins move it from covering 1 and 2, to cover 2 and 3 :)
