Yes another thread about this card!
The problem i'm having is when I am running games after a short time my monitor switches itself off , the game is still running but the only way i can recover is by hitting the reset. All power saving options are off.
Any helpful suggestions pls ?

Sounds like another voltage problem, in that halway in a game it can't get enough voltage to keep going, and just stops.
Common problem :(

Ta for reply m8e,
What you suggest i try first ?
power supply then new mb ? :(
Its nothing to do with the voltage. For the last time Geforce II's don't have high voltage requirements (Geforce 1's did).
Anyway I have the exact same system as you except I don't have the Pro version of the card. The only other difference is windows ME. It sounds like Windows ME thinks you are no longer using your PC and energy saves on your monitor.
Have a look through this faq http://www.geforcefaq.com/
If it's a known problem its in there.

Well that link is where i have been
looking and they say it's a voltage
related thing :)
The FAQ was originally set up for the geforce 1. That's why they comment on the voltage for this question. The geforce 2 does not use a lot of power and as long as you have a 230 Watt supply or greater there should be no problem (almost all supplies are 230Watt or higher).
Your problem is more likely to do with the refresh rates:
Try going into Safe Mode and go to Control Panel / System. Remove all monitor devices listed and let Windows redetect the monitor when it restarts.
Try changing your refresh rate. See the 'How can I manually set refresh rates and force the refresh rate above 60hz?' question for more details.
If you have no monitor drivers for your monitor, select 'Plug and Play Monitor' from the (Standard monitor types) section of the monitor drivers list.

Well in the end I changed the AGP aperture
size in the bios and the problem has now
gone :)
