Althon 1000mhz Temp range, What should it be?

My Althon 1000mhz chip is running at temperatures between 40-50C Celsius and right now is at 48C and my system temperatures runs from 25C upwards.
ARE THESE Temperatures safe for this chip and system?, when I first brought the processor it ran at around 40C.

yeah that is about what most people get with the same sort of set up
its perfectly fine
if the temp often goes over 50c i would consider a couple of case fans too :)
my 700 duron runs at about 30-45 with coolermaster heatsink and fan

My Duron 700 (@963) gets to 39c after heavy games session, Idles at 30/31 :P


Then again got the damn noisy CoolerCase from O/Clockers
