Admin Help. I'm Floating

Everytime i access a game of Team Fortress on Wireplay and Gamespy for that matter, i find myself floating above the terrain with no gun and a ping time of about 1500. I can't see anyone else. What is going on?

does this just happen on wireplay servers? or does it affect any tfc server. also, make sure half life is version 1.1.0.4.

what connection are you using? if your ping is massive like that, try connecting via wireplay direct as a test to see if that makes a difference.

Thanks for the reply Champ. Yep, wireplay connection is fine, so it must be down to 24-7 Freecall. Usually they are excellent.
So how crap those online internet speed tests are. It showed i was connecting at 61kps.
At least that has sorted that little problem out.

Valve are supposed to be realising a patch that will sort it it, fingers crossed. :)
