lo guys and gals

I recently reinstalled win 98 and updated to IE5.5 but when trying to view anything on the internet I keep getting an error message saying the I'm unable to view the pages cos of the Access Control List is denying me. WTF ??

never had this prob prior to the re-install and I was using w98 and IE5.5. then.

BUT...... I can view the web using freeswerve's off peak dial up no problem but when I use any other of my dial ups - plus.net off peak and the wireplay internet/direct, i get the error message again on every page.

freeswerve's dial up was put on after all the others and seems to cure it but why can't I use the other dial ups? the others are faster and more stable for gaming and it's a pain having to redial to either play games or view the internet.

Connecting to game servers, WP2/3, Mirc etc, isn't a problem with any of the dial ups.

Do I need to delete a .dat file or something or is it another 5 hour re-install cos windows has borked up? :(

Help :dozey:

Thanking you wery much
