You can get a GeForce2 MX from http://www.gb.buy.com for £60 w/ the special help of a £30 off voucher, which looks suspiciously like this -

why is the elsa card better than the creative one? it only has sdram.

Aye, tis true but the Elsa has 128bit SDRAM as opposed to 64bit DDR RAM that the Creative has. At the end of the day they both have exactly the same amount of memory bandwidth available to them but the Creative will still be a touch slower because DDR RAM has higher latency than SDRAM

ARGH! Those sods sent me a mail this morning (it's Tuesday, and I ordered it last Sunday, over a WEEK ago!) telling me they haven't got the Elsa in stock and they're being as quick as they can.

Sods.

thats gutted m8.

In theory the Creative mx ddr and and sdr should have the same memory bandwidth. But in real life the creative is far slower

Has anyone actually bought from them? I mean it seems to good to be true if I buy something for £60 its half price, thats sounds dodgy.
