Build ports and play as the blue clan. I take over the West and use it as a training ground then ship my men to the central area.
Ports come in handy when the damn geshas are after your damiyo
I don't even get far enough for them to start using geshas! But I will give your words of advice a try :E

Yer shogun is pretty damn sweet, the campaign games are dead engrossing, the hours seem like minutes when youre at war with a couple of clans :)
:E
Shogun is wicked but to easy. i compleated it 2nd try on the normal dificulty. the first time my damiyo died with out any sons :( start as the green clan take the blues and put all troops in the two lands that they can land in and then build up armiea and meet the Dutch and so on then start from the top east to the west. no problem
And if Alan the gerbil replies to this then he is dead as i think he's following me ;)

I bought this (along with Ground Control) yesterday when I went on a mad plastic-spree... I can't wait to finish my dissertation so I can start playing it :)
Must...be...strong...:hmph:
yeah nice game nothing better than pulling off a bit of sneaky troop manauvering but the registering with ea to play online is pi55ing me off
like the control you have, very easy to use but fininshed it on every level first time, put it back in the cupboard after a week and havent played it since!
